Raffle Dreams & Fundraising Feels: Let’s Talk Prizes and Purpose

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing well! I was scrolling through the Robbins School Foundation raffle group and it made me smile there is just something exciting about raffles, right? The kind of buzz where you’re imagining winning a prize but also knowing every ticket helps support our students. Love that mix of fun and purpose.

I remember last year I almost won a gift basket so close! I felt that same kind of excitement until I opened a text saying “Thank you for participating!” Haha. But seriously, even though I didn’t win, it was awesome feeling like a small part of something bigger.

I also wanted to mention how appreciative I am that the raffle helps fund school programs. My niece is heading into grade two at Robbins, and hearing about all the new books and art supplies they get from fundraising is wonderful. It’s one thing to say “we support education,” but it’s another to actually see kids smiling at their new stuff.

On a totally different note, my cousin’s in Canada getting her degree in nursing, juggling classes and shifts, and she was saying she might need Nursing Assignment Help in Canada to keep her head above water. I thought it was kind of relatable to how we’re all trying to help out in different ways, whether it’s buying raffle tickets or offloading pressure in school.

Anyone else volunteering or selling tickets? Or maybe you’re eyeing a prize and thinking “that could be mine”? I’m curious what people hope to get if they win and what the funds should ideally go toward next year. Personally I’m hoping for a local business gift card win, but I’ll be just as happy seeing the students get something they need.

Thanks for being part of this group. Let’s keep the good vibes rolling and support Robbins however we can.
